Rachel Daigle

Mindfulness, Meditation & Yoga Practitioner, Space holder, Instructor

Hi, I’m Rachel Daigle, founder of Dharmabees, mother, practitioner, and space holder on this winding path of mindful living.

I’ve studied and practiced deeply within the Plum Village tradition and beyond, drawing from the wellspring of mindfulness, yoga, and earth-based wisdom. I’m currently working on receiving official certification for a 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training and a meditation teacher certification, and I’ve treated much of my life as a retreat; from early morning meditation and movement, to ethical renunciation and sacred routine.

The need for community and group practice pushed me to open my doors and offer what I can!

FAQs

Answer Of Some Yoga Questions

How do you start yoga practice?

Begin with simple poses and gradually increase intensity as your body adjusts. It’s important to listen to your body and progress at your own pace.

What equipment do I need for yoga?

A yoga mat is essential, and props like blocks and straps can help enhance your practice. Comfortable clothing is also important to allow for full movement.

When can I practice yoga after eating?

It's best to wait at least 1-2 hours after eating before practicing yoga. This helps prevent discomfort during your poses.

What if I feel stuck with my practice?

Feeling stuck is natural. Consider exploring different types of classes, consulting with a yoga instructor, or incorporating mindfulness practices to deepen your experience.

What's the difference between yoga and meditation?

Yoga focuses on physical postures and breath control to enhance overall well-being, while meditation is primarily a mental practice that fosters mindfulness, relaxation, and clarity.

What are the benefits of a regular yoga practice?

A consistent yoga practice improves flexibility, strengthens the body, reduces stress, enhances mental clarity, and promotes overall well-being, both physically and emotionally.
